The toughest sport on dirt is returning to Chicago for the ninth time this year. The PBR Chicago Invitational is the second stop in the Unleash the Beast Tour. This is the second opportunity for some cowboys to cover some bulls and make the buzzer. There will be 35 bull riders going head to head against some of the best bulls in the industry.
All of this action is going down at the Allstate Arena in Chicago on both Saturday, January 12 at 6:45 pm and Sunday, January 13th at 1:45 pm. If you are going to be in town a day early, make sure to catch the WRCA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) performance as well at 7 pm on January 11, also at the Allstate Arena.
The WCRA, in collaboration with the PBR, is pleased to announce that this will be the first $1 Million Major Rodeo in the 2019 Series. This will be the first time in history that 81 of the world’s top rodeo athletes will compete in the WCRA Windy City Roundup, which takes place the same weekend as the PBR.
Last year, PBR rider, Cooper Davis was the champion of the weekend. It will be interesting to see if he will be able to snag that title again or someone else will be named the champion. This early in the series, the playing field is open and it is a great opportunity for the riders to get some wins under their chaps.
