From April 5 through April 8, more than 200 top-ranked cowboys and cowgirls will compete in the 31st RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida at the Silver Spurs Arena. The rodeo is considered the second largest event in the United States. In Kissimmee, Western athletes vie for more than $1 million in cash in addition to a $20,000 vouchers for a brand new RAM truck and a Polaris ATV among other prizes.
History of the RNCFR
The PRCA divided the country into 12 different circuits in 1975. Each circuit contained one to 13 states. By 1987, Dodge became the sponsor of all of the circuits and the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo was born. By 2010, the Dodge brand incorporated the RAM Truck division and the Chrysler Group. However, two years later, the event became known as the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo. When the PRCA season comes to an end, the top ranking athletes from across the country have the chance to compete in the circuit finals. The champions of those events go on to compete in the RNCFR.
