The 2018 World Finals is a culmination of weekly tour events, which have been televised on CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, and other networks around the globe. Currently, around 3 Million PBR Fans attend a live PBR event. During the 2018 season, the PBR turned 25, and will have awarded $11 Million in prize money, including the $1 Million Bonus – going to the World Champion Bull Rider.

Inside Story: Honesty, Integrity, and Hard Work Paves the Road to Success

The steadfast growth of the PBR as “America’s original extreme sport” wouldn’t be where it’s at now without the riders, bulls, stock contractors, the fans, and one other element: Sponsors.

In fact, the sport would not exist if it were not for the support from local businesses. And oftentimes, these sponsors come forward because a business owner connects with the sport of Bull Riding, on a personal level.

WSM Auctioneers is one such business; and John and Shelly Cadzow are those owners. For John, rodeo has been a long standing, family tradition. He understands the sport because he knows that it takes character and grit to succeed as a Professional Bull Rider.

He understands that the road leading to the PBR World Finals takes a daily commitment to meeting and exceeding personal goals; much as he has with his own company.

WSM Auctioneers, specializes in licensed auction services of equipment, vehicles, tools, and building material to individuals, corporations, and municipalities since 1971.

WSM have stayed at the top of their game because they’ve stuck to the standard set by the company’s founder, John’s father: The Standard of Fair and Honest Dealing, since day one.

John and Shelly Cadzow are putting their hard-earned money where their hearts are – with some of the athletes that have made PBR what it is today – a thriving and exciting sport. People that can truly be admired and respected – PBR Bull Riders Claudio Montanha, Jr (currently ranked #3 in the world), and Cody Nance (currently ranked #8 in the world).

The other PBR athletes that both John and Shelly admire are the bulls. They have become members of the Chad Berger Bucking Bulls Team – and own one of PBR’s top athletes – “Shelley’s Gangster”.

“Shelly and I are very excited to be a part of the Chad Berger Bucking Bulls team, while at the same time, having such a great bull that goes by the name of “Shelley’s Gangster”. My Company, WSM Auctioneers, is proud to be involved in the Western Industry and we look forward to a long-term family environment. In addition, we are proud to sponsor Professional Bull Riders, Cody Nance and Claudio Montanha Jr.”

The bull “Shelley’s Gangster” originally made his debut at the March 2016 Built Ford Tough PBR event in Albuquerque, New Mexico. J.B. Mauney rode the bull for an impressive 88.25 pts, with the bull marked at 43.

Since then, “Shelley’s Gangster” has matured; and with 16 outs in 2018, is still going strong. In fact, Jose Vitor Leme rode him for 89 pts, at the 2018 Albuquerque event, with the bull marked at 43.50! He must be getting better with age!

“Shelley’s Gangster” 2018 stats include 16 outs with an average of 43.45 score per out, and he’s only been ridden 37.50%.

Chad Berger Bucking Bulls, home of Chad Berger – 7X PBR Stock Contractor of the Year, has also carried on family business and tradition from Chad’s father’s original bucking bull breeding program, which started back in the ‘60’s. He and John Cadzow share a passion for continuing the legacy of honesty, integrity, and hard work.

CLN would like to officially welcome the Cadzow family into ours – the Western Industry Family.

It’ll be exciting to see if “Shelley’s Gangster” will be matched with either one of the WSM Auctioneers team members; and we are looking forward to watching “Shelley’s Gangster”, Claudio Mantanha, Jr, Cody Nance, and all of the other hard-working athletes during the PBR: 25th Unleash the Beast World Finals.

Indian National Finals Rodeo (INFR) 2018

The first ever Indian National Finals Rodeo was held in 1976, the brainchild of five people who wished to unite several regional Indian Rodeo Associations from the U.S. and Canada. And that’s how the first ever INFR took place at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, UT, with champion Indian cowboys and cowgirls competing against each other.

Today, the INFR sanctions almost 700 rodeos across the nation, and offers more than a million dollars in prize money, making it the largest organization of its kind in the whole world. Competitions are held throughout the year, culminating in the Indian National Finals with more than 350 contestants competing against each other in eight events.

Currently operating in eleven regions in the US and Canada, the age of its members ranges from 8 to 80! The 2018 inductees include Wright Bruised Head, Yvette Vega, Ed Hall, Jack Foreman and Leonard Williams Sr. This year, 75 tribes have been represented at the event. Most INFR members also belong to the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.

The INFR Commission works alongside a number of youth rodeo associations as well the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association and National High School Rodeo Association. In doing so, it helps athletes progress from youth rodeo to professional rodeo. Additionally, it raises awareness and conservation of the INFR for Professional Indian Cowboys and Cowgirls. It also runs an INFR Scholarship Program that has provided more than $50,000 in scholarship assistance since 2005 to the members of the organization.

This year, INFR will be held across October 23 to 27 at the South Point Equestrian Centre in Las Vegas. Tickets are available for sale at the Information Booth there. You can also reserve a room online at the South Point website at www.southpointcasino.com.

Bullfighters Only (BFO) World Championship 2018 returns to Tropicana Las Vegas

Grab your cowboy hats and pack your suitcases folks because Cowboy Lifestyle Network is headed to the Bullfighters Only Championship in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada! We invite you to join in on the fun and take part in cheering on some of the most impressive athletes and animal athletes the rodeo world has to offer.

In conjunction with the 2018 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, Bullfighters Only will be returning to Las Vegas for their 2018 championship which will be held at 2pm, December 6th-15th at the gorgeous, Tropicana Las Vegas Resort & Casino.

With special BFO room rates starting at $45 per night, the time to book your stay at the Tropicana is now! Visit: https://book.passkey.com/event/49726506/owner/1356/home for more information on how you can book your 2018 NFR stay. Bullfighters Only CEO Aaron Ferguson states, “Tropicana Casino and Resort is affordable for people coming to Vegas that time of year. It’s right on The Strip and has easy access to all things rodeo during NFR. Plus, it’s just down the road from the Thomas & Mack Center.”

Featuring the most talented athletes in the game, such as two-time reigning BFO World Champion Weston Rutkowski, Bullfighters Only is the perfect entertainment for any thrill-seeker.

But what is Bullfighters Only? “Bullfighters Only is the world’s premier freestyle bullfighting competition series. Featuring an international roster of elite pros competing against the meanest fighting bulls for the largest purse in bullfighting history. Since its inception, BFO has evolved to become a platform that serves to excite the western community, educate both the avid and casual fans, and present the sport to an entirely new audience” (www.bullfightersonly.com). Audience members are kept on the edge of their seats as these athletes, jump, dodge, and dance around up to 1,500 pounds of charging bull!

However, BFO offers much more than a chance for competitors to display extreme athleticism, it also offers a sanctuary for the breed of bull, Toro Bravo, which is typically featured in traditional bullfighting rings in other countries, due to its natural instinct to charge. Bullfighters Only provides a much more humane experience for these animal athletes, who are celebrated as much as their human “dance partners” and are given the chance to live out their full lives in luxury as celebrated athletes. BFO’s fighting bulls such as “Spitfire” and “The Spaniard” have even become just as popular as their human counterparts!

Bullfighters Only CEO, Aaron Ferguson shares, “we had eight incredible days of competition last year. This year we’ve upped the ante, so to speak. We’re going to increase our performances, and we’re going to have a larger venue to allow for more fans to enjoy the show.”

With a purse of more than $50,000 and this year’s world champion receiving an additional $50,000 bonus, the stakes are high.

As of September 9th, 2018, current tour standings put bullfighters, Weston Rutkowski ($21,670) in first place, Kris Furr ($18,361) in 2nd, and Toby Inman ($15,675) in third. The first performance will feature the top 9 bullfighters in the standings as they compete for the Fourth Annual Roughy Cup. Rising talent will also have the opportunity to compete in a series of qualifier events.

Bullfighters Only, the Tropicana Las Vegas Resort & Casino, and Cowboy Lifestyle Network hope you will join us this December for the 2018 BFO World Championships in conjunction with the 2018 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo!

There’s an anticipated total payout within the $5 Million dollar range; with 4 – 5,000 teams competing. The #10 Division, as in most cases and areas of the country, will have the most entries.

2018 has been a “rebuilding year”, states Karl Stressman, President of the USTRC. He continued,  “We’ve done some things that have put us in a good position…we’re going to continue to escalate the [USTRC] brand”.

And indeed, they have made some additions and changes to their format that should do just that:

  1. Sunday, October 21: Kicking off the 2018 NFTR, will be the #16 Case IH Tractor Roping. This will be an enter one-time event, with $1,000 entry fees. The winners of the average will each receive a Case IH Tractor
  2. The 2018 NFTR  will be the first year to feature “RAM Exclusives” (age-capped at 25 yrs and over)  roping for the #12, #11, #10, #9, and #8 Divisions. Stressman believes that this will “level the playing field” for the bulk of their members. These age-capped divisions will be awarding a whopping $10,000 RAM Truck certificate to the winning headers and heelers in each division
In addition, Bob’s Custom Saddles and Gist Buckles will be awarded to the top ten headers and heelers in each division.
  3. NEW to 2018 for The Cinch Ladies Championships – Thursday, October 25: They will feature a #10 Division, with a #8 Incentive, and capped at a 6 Elite – both ends. The 2018 awards will include Bob’s Custom saddles, a full Cinch Ladies’ wardrobe, and a $1,000 cash bonus – all in addition to the prize money. (Over $55,000 was awarded in 2017; $18,040 of which Rylea Rae Fabrizio and Lorraine Moreno ended up winning.)
  4. NEW to the Junior Looper Open (Monday, October 22) and #10 (Wednesday, October 24) Divisions: They are now a part of the Jr. NFR Program; with $50,000 up for grabs in both divisions. There will be five positions up for grabs at the NFTR in Oklahoma City, to be added to the 10 Year-End Qualifiers going to the Jr. NFR in Las Vegas – December 6-15.

Chambers Clinic improves your health for a better life

Chambers Clinic – with locations in Scottsdale and Tempe, Arizona – serves as a one-stop shop for all your medical needs. It is the only naturopathic medical practice of its kind in the U.S to offer services that include cardiology, oncology, natural pain treatment, hormones and more.

Dr. Keith Chambers founded Chambers Clinic ten years ago and thrives with a 95 percent patient referral rate.

“Naturopathic medicine offers a better way to look at your health. It’s more comprehensive and more individual. We spend a lot of time with you, look deeply at lab results and use tried-and-true natural methods before resorting to drugs and surgery. Those have their place but we have so many more tools at our disposal and we’re able to get results for patients much faster and more effectively,” says Dr. Chambers.

Dr. Chambers grew up farming and ranching in the Midwest.  “When you’re outdoors all the time, you get a sense of the way nature works. Yet somehow when it comes to medicine, we often see the opposite.”

He says he always wanted to be a doctor and even declared pre-med in college. However, the more he learned about the conventional medical world, he found it really wasn’t helping people the way he thought it would, so he pursued other avenues. He went to business school, taught chemistry and built and sold businesses.

A fourth-degree black belt in karate, he discovered naturopathic medicine in the mid-90’s when he got injured during training. He became enthralled with learning how the medicine helped people without side effects and went back to med school.

Naturopathic doctors are regulated by a state physicians board and have pharmaceutical prescribing rights. “Eight-five percent of the time, we are able to have better outcomes using natural remedies than if you throw a drug at it. If we don’t have results, we will refer patients elsewhere. Luckily we’ve never had to do that,” Dr. Chambers says.

Chambers Clinic stays ahead of the curve with cutting-edge services including an IV suite, blood draws, ultrasound-guided pain injections, a cryotherapy chamber, a green laser weight loss device, steam and sauna rooms, hydrotherapy, colonics, massage, acupuncture, and a fully-stocked Chambers Supplements shop.

“I want to influence people to think about their health and take the next step to get help. We can only control ourselves and I think that if we can have an effect on moving someone to take action to improve their health and their life, it’s is a wonderful thing.”

All the Professional Bull Riders circuit cowboys are rough and tough bull riders. They enjoy nothing more than climbing atop the massive beasts fearlessly and holding on as long as possible as the Kraken is unleashed. They are fearless in the face of very bad odds. This is the kind of event that propels a bull rider’s career forward or ends it then and there. We are talking about the riders that have advanced this far who come from all over the world. Brazilian riders in the past few years have proven their mettle and have bested some of the best American riders from the Midwest.

From the first day, each competitor will ride a bull. This will give them a chance to earn enough points to go through to the Built Ford Tough Series Championship round. What is the prize money for that round? $300,000. The rider with the highest points will find himself on the top of the podium and will earn the title of the Professional Bull Riders World Finals Champion. The ultimate prize for the winner will be the million-dollar cash prize, so all of the riders have a lot riding to do in this competition.
