Tohono O’Odham Nation Rodeo & Fair 2019

Don’t miss the Tohono O’odham Nation Rodeo’s 81st year in Sells, AZ. Taking place from February 1st to the 3rd, this long-running rodeo will be featuring traditional rodeo events such as barrel racing, calf roping and bull riding. It’s got it all: rodeo competitions, traditional games, great food, crafts and performances, Pow Wow, carnival rides, a parade, and so much more! They have great entertainment lined up coming from Frank Ray Music and STATELINE  on Friday, Feb. 1. The headliners for Saturday, Feb. 2 include Michael SalgadoTEJANO HIGHWAY 281 and Dezigual.  On Sunday, Feb. 3 they will feature the winners of the Waila Championship Battle of the Bands. 

The event takes place at the Eugene P. Tashquinth Sr. Livestock Complex located three miles west of Sells, Arizona along State Route 86. As Arizona’s longest-running American Indian rodeo, Tohono O’odham Nation Rodeo offers you the chance to celebrate the culture of the Tohono O’odham Nation.  Bring the whole family and enjoy the round dancing, as well as a variety of musical entertainment on the main stage every day – this includes popular Waila bands.

Columbia River PRCA Circuit Finals Rodeo 2019

The Columbia River Circuit Finals Rodeo is considered the top rodeo in the Northwest and will be returning to Central Washington in just a few days. The PRCA sanctioned Finals will be held at the Yakima Valley SunDome on January 11-13, 2019. During this time, the Yakima Valley SunDome will see the return of some of the best athletes in the industry compete for the title of Circuit Champion. With star players coming from all over the Northwest, the CRCFR is set to have one of their best years yet!

The Columbia River Circuit Finals will feature 12 cowboys and cowgirls in each rodeo event during the performance These events include saddle bronc, bareback, bull riding, tie-down roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling and team roping. The contestants will be challenging each other for the opportunity to compete at the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida on March 21-24, 2019.

The Columbia River Circuit consists of 29 of the finest PRCA rodeos throughout the Northwest and the Columbia River Circuit Finals is the summit of the season, as they attract the region’s top competitors. What’s more, it has a number of the best performing PRCA athletes from the pro rodeo circuit as well. In fact, fifteen of the contestants competed for a world title at the Las Vegas’ Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

64th Annual Minot Y’s Men’s PRCA Indoor Rodeo

Minot Y’s Men’s PRCA Indoor Rodeo has been around for over half a century and will be marking its 64th year from October 4th to the 7th.  

The Super Bowl of rodeo for North and South Dakota, the Minot Y’s Men’s Rodeo will be hosting the Ram Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo. Visitors get to watch the 90 best cowboys and cowgirls in the region compete for the championship and a berth at the National Circuit Finals Rodeo.  

The event will also include the Miss North Dakota Rodeo pageant, a chili cook-off, mutton bustin’, as well as the Badlands Cowboy Christmas Expo and Trade Show. October 5th is Tough Enough to Wear Pink night, when cowboys, cowgirls, and rodeo personnel will wear pink to raise funds for local cancer patients.

Proceeds from the rodeo go to benefit the Triangle Y Camp on Lake Sakakawea. Before the rodeo events on October 7th, there will be the Miss Rodeo North Dakota coronation. There will be an awards presentation at the State Fair Centre after all the rodeo events.

Tickets for the event can be bought at the website www.minotysmensrodeo.com. Gold tickets are $33 for both adults and children, and silver seating is $23 for adults and $13 for children.

Children’s prices are for 12 and under; if a child sits on a lap, he or she does not need a ticket. Additionally, October 7 is Military Appreciation Day – all active and retired military, plus their immediate families, can purchase discounted tickets for the Oct. 7 performance.

Gold seating will be discounted to $23 for both adults and children, and silver seating will be discounted to $13 for adults, $8 for children.

Omak Stampede 2018

While Washington State may not be known as a hotbed for rodeos by many people, smart cowboys and cowgirls in the Pacific Northwest know better. Thus, from August 9-12, rodeo fans from all over the state will converge on the 85th Annual PRCA Omak Stampede.

This year’s edition, which is expected to be bigger and better than ever before, will feature a variety of great events, special nights honoring various groups and causes, live music, and of course the World Famous Suicide Race. And to make sure the Omak Stampede receives the coverage that’s deserving of a world-class rodeo, it will be covered start to finish by the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team, all of which will give fans a great look at what makes this rodeo so special.

World Famous Suicide Race

And speaking of thrills and spills, it doesn’t get any better than the annual World Famous Suicide Race. Known throughout the rodeo world as perhaps the most exciting event of its kind, it’s been virtually unchanged since its introduction in 1935. Except for a few modern safety precautions, the race involves competitors starting just short of a sandy bluff near the Okanogan River. From there, they ride their horses 225 feet down the bluff, swim across the river, then make a 500-yard mad dash to the finish line, which is located near the center of the rodeo arena.

PBR BFTS: Professional Bull Riders Badboy Mowdown 2018

31st RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida

From April 5 through April 8, more than 200 top-ranked cowboys and cowgirls will compete in the 31st RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida at the Silver Spurs Arena. The rodeo is considered the second largest event in the United States. In Kissimmee, Western athletes vie for more than $1 million in cash in addition to a $20,000 vouchers for a brand new RAM truck and a Polaris ATV among other prizes.

History of the RNCFR

The PRCA divided the country into 12 different circuits in 1975. Each circuit contained one to 13 states. By 1987, Dodge became the sponsor of all of the circuits and the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo was born. By 2010, the Dodge brand incorporated the RAM Truck division and the Chrysler Group. However, two years later, the event became known as the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo. When the PRCA season comes to an end, the top ranking athletes from across the country have the chance to compete in the circuit finals. The champions of those events go on to compete in the RNCFR.

Each evening, spectators thrill during the exciting traditional rodeo events that include:
