Horses Help is excited to welcome everyone to the 2017 Winter Open House!

Horses Help, a non-profit center for Equine Assisted Activities and Learning,  has been serving the special needs, at-risk, and military/fire/police populations for over 30 years.

Horses Help attracts individuals, from the greater Phoenix area, who participate in a multitude of programs including, but not limited to: Adaptive Riding and Horsemanship, Equine Assisted Learning, and Hippotherapy.

On Wednesday, December 20th, Horses Help will host its annual Winter Open House.

This event provides a unique opportunity for the public to meet the staff, see the facility and horses, and interact with some of the participants. It will be an evening full of fun for the whole family!

Activities will include pony rides for ages 4-12, face painting,  a bounce house, crafts, food, holiday shopping, and even a singing Santa!

Along with all the fun and meeting the horses, visitors, who are so inclined, can choose a star from the horses’ Wishing Tree to help give them their Christmas gifts. The items on the stars will help maintain each horse’s daily care, such as halters, hoof picks, brushes, just to name a few.  So come, have some fun and check out the Wishing Tree!

Horses Help Big Barn Bash 2017

Horses Help, a non-profit Equine Assisted Activity and Learning Center, will host its 13th Annual Barn Bash on Saturday, November 4. This event provides attendees the opportunity to view the horses, learn what Horses Help offers, celebrate the supporters of Horses Help and enjoy a great evening of food, music, and fun.

With over 475,000 special needs individuals in Maricopa County, horses are used to create a unique relationship with those with physical and cognitive and emotional barriers. Each week Horses Help serves participants ranging from four years of age to seniors. New programs are regularly being developed to meet wider community needs, but these programs place greater financial demands on the facility. The Barn Bash helps provide funding to offset the cost of programs so participants can afford to continue with their programs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to sponsor a horse providing for its care for the upcoming year or make a donation, at any level, to support the daily operations. Donations will help participants have the ability to continue in riding or horsemanship classes.

To learn more about Horses Help and the Barn Bash, please go to www.horseshelp.org. Also, stay up-to-date by following Horses Help on Facebook!

If you are unable to attend the Bash but have a desire to donate to an amazing cause, Horses Help accepts donations online, and individuals are eligible to receive a dollar for dollar tax credit. For more information about becoming involved call 602-569-6056, volunteers are always appreciated.
